There is no doubt that flowers make me happy. Looking into the face of a cheery purple, custard yellow and pink pansy takes me back to my childhood in the UK. In those days there wasnt such a spectrum of colors, but still those faces, always made me grin.
Tall delphiniums with their black eyelashes, and mottled foxgloves or as my husband calls them “tinkerbells”. Anything in the daisy family, Echinacea, shasta daises and glorious sunflowers make imagesummertime a joy. Every morning we cruise our amazing gardens, proud of our work excited at Every new bloom, freshly opened, and of our ability to create a paradise despite the prefix ‘dis’.
